Dad was a beacon of joyfulness and patience in a world of cynicism and busy-ness. May we learn from his example to be still and see God’s hand at work in the world. We pray to the Lord.

Dad loved and cared deeply for children. May we always remember the dignity of human life regardless of age or ability,  as we are all children of God. We pray to the Lord.

Family was of utmost importance to Dad. Let us remember family members and friends who have gone before us. Grant them an everlasting home with you. We pray to the Lord.

Blessed are the Peacemakers. May we learn from Dad’s example the importance of tolerence, grace, peacefulness, and respect in our relationships. We pray to the Lord.

Dad died as he lived – with an unshakeable trust in God. May we grow in our turst in the Lord as we grieve. We pray to the Lord.

May our faith – the faith of Dad, our ancestors, and the Saints – be a constant source of hope for us. We pray to the Lord.
